Now that you have gotten used to the different equipment in the Tec 40 course its time to take it a little further with the Tec 45 course. The course allows you to go to 45 metres and make accelerated decompression dives using any mix of EANx or pure oxygen. This means you now take a extra cylinder with you that has a high concentration of Oxygen (or pure oxygen) in it to speed up the decompression part of the dive. You really start to see the benefit of staying longer at depth now. Once again we start off with some study you can do in the comfort of your home before we take you diving and throw a few problems at you to solve. Here's how it works! The course consists of 4 dives, with the last dive being as close to 45m as we can get you. You will also do some practical applications such as: Out of air scenario’s, Unresponsive diver tows, learning how to retrieve and don a deco cylinder, using a backup buoyancy device, how to deploy a SMB or lift bag and how to deal with a free flowing regulator and cylinder valve. Hmmmm….some of that stuff sounds familiar from your recreational courses, but its handled a little differently with tec gear on. To enrol on the course, you must be:
